PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
The SCALE-UP project aims to empower young jobseekers by helping them acquire new skills and improve their employability in the labor market. The purpose is to provide tailored training focusing on essential skills for today’s job market, including Emotional Intelligence, Leadership, Green Transition, Circular Economy, and Digital Communication.
The SCALE-UP project promotes inclusion and diversity by providing accessible training to young jobseekers with fewer opportunities. It offers an online platform for talent assessment, guidance, and remote skill strengthening.
OBJECTIVES:
1. Improve communication between youths and potential employers, better understanding of changes affecting the labour market, needs and challenges of the young jobseekers through the conduction of questionnaires and report.
2. Provide tools to better assess social skills and attitudes through proving an innovative method for skill assessing
3. Provide young people with training to acquire and improve the skills that are currently most in demand on the labour market through online training course.
ACTIVITIES:
SCALE-UP project aims at addressing the above by :
- Preparing a Report on “Matching labour market and young jobseekers needs” on the basis of partner’s research and collection of data through two questionnaire submitted in all partner countries
- Development of a skill assessment tool based on previous findings which contributes to improve the employability of young people
- Creation of a SCALE-UP Online Training formed by 4 online workshop on the most required new skills
- Final Event
EXPECTED RESULTS
- Deliver a comprehensive study on the labour market changes and new requirement and youth employment challenges in the participating countries, to identify skills to be developed.
- Build the skill assessment and online training contents to train yong jobseekers for helping get better job opportunities, be more confident in their skills and ensure equal opportunities.
- Involve in online training course and final event TGs to reflect on project outcomes and knowledge of opportunities
