ALL-IN Comes to Life: A Day to Connect Through Sports

On March 5, the Developia Foundation actively participated in an event organized as part of the European project ALL-IN: The Game of Inclusion, an Erasmus+ initiative that promotes sports as a tool to foster equality, diversity, and social inclusion in Europe.

Under the slogan “When Sport Creates Inclusion,” the event took place at 5:30 p.m. at Calle Ramón y Cajal, 21, bringing together professionals, social organizations, and individuals interested in discovering how sport can become a safe, diverse, and transformative space.

A space to connect, share, and play

The event was designed as a participatory and accessible experience. During the session, attendees were able to:

Learn firsthand about the objectives and activities of the ALL-IN project
Exchange ideas and experiences with people from the social and sports sectors
Participate in a playful setting, where table tennis served as a tool to break down barriers and foster interaction

This combination of presentation and hands-on activity perfectly captured the essence of the project: sport as a universal language capable of connecting people beyond their differences.

YouSmile: A successful model for rural tourism recognized by INJUVE

At the Developia Foundation, we are celebrating a key milestone: our European project YouSmile has been recognized by the Youth Institute (INJUVE) as an example of Good Practice in the Erasmus+ KA220 Youth call for proposals. This recognition validates the effectiveness of the tools we have developed to transform the future of rural youth through sustainable tourism.

Tangible results: What have we achieved with YouSmile?

The project has not only been a statement of intent, but has also materialized specific resources that are already having an impact on the territory:

  • Online Training Course: We have designed a specialized educational platform to train the next generation of rural entrepreneurs. This course offers practical modules on micro-tourism business management, sustainability, and digital marketing adapted to the rural environment.
  • Implementation Guide for Sustainable Tourism: A key resource that provides young people and organizations with guidelines for creating business models that respect natural and cultural heritage, turning sustainability into a competitive advantage.
  • Promotion of Youth Entrepreneurship: Through non-formal education methodologies, we have connected young people with real opportunities in their regions, helping them identify niche markets in ecological and local tourism.
  • European Cooperation Network: YouSmile has facilitated the exchange of experiences between partners from different countries, creating a shared knowledge base that now serves as a reference model for future youth policies in the European Union.

A sustainable future for rural youth

With the support of INJUVE, YouSmile has established itself as a proven roadmap for combating unemployment and depopulation. At the Developia Foundation, we remain committed to providing solutions that not only generate employment but also ensure balanced and environmentally friendly economic growth.

Promoting entrepreneurship with advanced technology

Last week, the project consortium met in Cluj-Napoca, Romania, to conduct a series of intensive training sessions, during which the modules, videos, translations and questionnaires for the MOBIpreneur course were reviewed and refined. This course is designed to help entrepreneurs integrate artificial intelligence (AI), automation and other digital technologies into their business projects.

During three days of intense collaboration, the project partners worked to improve every aspect of the course, ensuring that the content is accessible, interactive, and relevant to today’s entrepreneurs. MOBIpreneur is aimed at adults who want to take the next step in their professional development, using technology as a key tool to overcome the challenges of entrepreneurship in the 21st century.

One of the main innovations tested in the training were advanced digital tools, such as the SheBot AI chatbot and the WhatsApp Automation Tool. These tools are integrated with uQualio, an e-learning platform that enables a more personalised, interactive and accessible learning experience for users. These technologies allow entrepreneurs to optimise their processes, improve customer interaction and make more informed decisions, all from a single digital platform.

Developia presents the new platform for the Andalusí Experience project in Calatayud

Calatayud revives its Andalusian past through the new platform presented by Developia, a digital space that combines history, technology, and tourism and is part of the Experiencia Andalusí project.

The presentation event, held in Calatayud, brought together representatives from the tourism sector, researchers, and professionals in the field of cultural heritage. During the day, the different services that make up this innovative platform, created in collaboration with other project partners, were showcased.

Thanks to the participation of these entities, a unique digital space has been created where visitors and citizens can connect with the Andalusian heritage of the region through immersive and informative experiences. The content presented included historical and heritage research, 3D recreations of Andalusian heritage, and a series of podcasts narrating the most relevant episodes of Andalusian history in Calatayud.

This project reinforces Developia’s commitment to technological innovation and the enhancement of cultural heritage, contributing to the creation of new ways of understanding and enjoying historical and experiential tourism.

We have completed our research on the Andalusian legacy of Calatayud, as part of the Andalusian Experience project

As part of the Andalusí Experience project, we have conducted exhaustive historical research focused on analyzing and documenting the Andalusí legacy in the Calatayud region. This work has been based on the compilation and study of historical sources, both documentary and archaeological, in order to reconstruct the Andalusí presence in the region and its evolution over the centuries with scientific rigor.

The research delves into the origins of Calatayud as one of the oldest Arab medinas on the Iberian Peninsula, founded around the 8th century, and analyzes its strategic role as a political, military, and economic center within Al-Andalus. The analysis has been completed with a review of archaeological findings, numismatic evidence, and the contextualized interpretation of literary sources and toponymy.

This research represents a significant contribution to regional and national historical knowledge, helping to highlight the cultural, heritage, and social importance of the Andalusian past in Aragon. The results obtained allow for a deeper understanding of the historical process of the region and reinforce the value of this heritage as a reference point for identity and a source of historical study.

Population Analysis for the Calatayud Community Tourism Intelligence System

The Developia Foundation has completed the delivery of the population analysis for the Tourism Intelligence System (SIT) of the Calatayud Community Region within the framework of the Destination Tourism Sustainability Plan (PSTD), financed by Next Generation EU funds.

The work, delivered in September 2025, represents a key step in the modernisation of the regional tourism sector.

The project has developed a dual methodology that combines the study of tourism supply — contacting 245 entities and obtaining 183 effective responses — and the analysis of demand through face-to-face surveys in the main tourist enclaves and digital dissemination.

In addition, specific buyer persons have been developed to represent the most relevant tourist profiles, including the development of 17 tourist routes considered to be the most popular, structured into five thematic sections: Water Triangle, Calatayud Heritage and Legend, Water and Fruit, Water and Mountains, and Mudejar Art and Clay.

The results have been fully adapted to the SIT CONECTUR Calatayud digital environment, transforming the information into visual and downloadable resources that facilitate consultation by citizens, tourists and entrepreneurs in the sector.

This analysis provides actionable knowledge to optimise tourism products and guide promotional campaigns, as part of the Tourism Sustainability Plan, which has been allocated €2.8 million in European funds and seeks to increase employment and curb depopulation through a more sustainable tourism model.

ALL-IN: sport becomes a driving force for equality and safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in Europe

We are thrilled to announce that the new European Erasmus+ KA210-YOU ALL-IN project has been approved: The Game of Inclusion (LGBTQ+), an innovative initiative that promotes sport as a tool to combat stereotypes and foster equality. ALL-IN: The Game of Inclusion (LGBTQ+), an innovative initiative that promotes sport as a tool for combating stereotypes and fostering equality.

The project, which will run from September 2025 to February 2027 with a budget of €60,000, seeks to create safe, inclusive and empowering sporting environments for LGBTQ+ young people, with a special focus on trans and non-binary individuals.

This international consortium is led by the Asociación Deportiva Cierzo proLGTB+ (Spain) and has the collaboration of the Fundación Developia (Spain), Le Girofard (France) and the Lithuanian Gay League (Lithuania). Each partner will contribute their expertise in key areas: sports inclusion, education, rights advocacy and legal protection.

Among the planned activities are:

  • Interactive inclusion workshops and peer mentoring programmes.
  • Collaborative creation laboratories and digital storytelling spaces.
  • The major international Legacy Event & Future Connections Summit, aimed at generating impact and future inclusive policies.

The Developia Foundation joins the international consortium seeking to train 800 young Mexicans in renewable energy and sustainable mobility

The Developia Foundation is pleased to announce its participation as a co-applicant in the project ‘Energy and Talent MX: Creating job opportunities for Mexican youth’, an initiative funded by the European Commission that has been approved within the call for Civil Society Organisations – Mexico 2024.

The project, which will run for 36 months, has as its main objective to boost the employability of young Mexicans aged 18 to 30 in socially vulnerable situations, with a special focus on the states of Sonora and Nuevo León. The initiative will train 800 young people (50% women) in technical and professional skills in the renewable energy and sustainable mobility sectors.

As part of the international consortium led by the Nuevo León Automotive Cluster (CLAUT), Developia has actively participated in both the drafting and conceptual design of the project and its implementation, contributing its expertise in:

  • Development of digital educational platforms: Leading the creation of ‘Talent Gateway,’ an innovative digital environment that will connect young people with employers and offer online courses with international certifications.
  • Innovative learning methodologies: Integrating gamification and artificial intelligence into training programmes.
  • Soft skills development: Designing specialised modules in cross-cutting skills essential for job placement.

One of the most notable innovations of the project is the adaptation of the Norwegian Jobbjansen model, which will combine academic training with real work experience. This programme will directly benefit 120 young people, and it is expected that at least 85% will successfully complete the training and be in a position to access employment contracts.

This international collaboration will enable the transfer of best European practices to Mexico and generate evidence-based public policy recommendations to promote youth inclusion and sustainable development.

The ‘Energy and Talent MX’ project represents a unique opportunity to apply our experience in inclusive technological development and training with an entrepreneurial and social focus in an international context, contributing to the development of skills that will enable young Mexicans to access decent jobs in key sectors for a sustainable future.

SCALE-UP recognized as an example of good practice in Spain

The SCALE-UP project is consolidating itself as an innovative European initiative focused on improving the employability of young people seeking opportunities across Europe. Responding to the changing needs of the labor market, SCALE-UP helps young people develop the essential skills and knowledge that employers demand today – from emotional intelligence and leadership to green transition, circular economy, and digital communication.

Coordinated by ESIC Business & Marketing School, the project has stood out for its comprehensive and strategic approach to tackling youth employability challenges. Thanks to its leadership, effective collaboration among European partners has been achieved, building a shared vision centered on empowering new generations.

Through data collection and analysis, the project has produced an in-depth report on the challenges young people face when entering the job market. This work has served as the foundation for the development of a skills assessment tool and an online training platform, both designed to support young people in building their strengths and professional confidence.

SCALE-UP has also organized interactive and collective training events, where participants enjoyed practical, dynamic, and creative learning experiences. These workshops strengthened critical thinking and emotional intelligence, going beyond theoretical content to promote self-awareness, collaboration, and reflection.

From day one, SCALE-UP has maintained a strong commitment to inclusion and accessibility, offering personalized support that enables young people to learn at their own pace and receive practical guidance to navigate a constantly evolving labor market.

We are proud to announce that SCALE-UP has been recognized as a good practice in Spain by the National Youth Agency – a recognition of its innovative approach and real impact on youth empowerment.
